Discovery of 11 bodies in Johannesburg exposes scale of violence against women

Since July, the bodies of women found either naked or half-naked and brutally beaten have been discovered on the outskirts of the South African capital. Although the theory of a serial predator has faded, the grim reality of widespread daily violence against women in the country has become undeniable.
