Paramount completes takeover of Warner Bros, creating Skydance media empire

The two prominent Hollywood studios merged into a film, television and news conglomerate under control of the Trump-linked Ellison family on Tuesday, as Paramount completed its takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery after a fierce bidding war and opposition from 12 US states.
