US Midterms: Vivek Ramaswamy loses, but who is the Indian American who made history?

Indian Americans had a mixed electoral outing in the US midterms. Former Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy lost the Ohio governor's race to Democrat Amy Acton. But Florida's Pia Dandiya made history, becoming the first Indian American to represent the state in Congress and only the second Indian American woman elected to the House of Representatives. Suhas Subramanyam won a second term in Virginia, while Aruna Miller retained her position as Maryland's lieutenant governor. Veterans Ro Khanna, Pramila Jayapal and Ami Bera also secured re-election. Mahesh Ganorkar and Shiva Ayyadurai, however, suffered defeats.
