Mercedes-Benz aims to reduce vehicle development time by up to 30% using AI and simulation tools, Chairman Ola Källenius told CNBC-TV18. The carmaker is also testing AI-enabled robots for factory operations, with more complex assembly applications expected to gain traction over the next two to four years. Its Bengaluru R&D centre will contribute to these global technology programmes.
