Buying liquor in Tamil Nadu? Here's what the new TASMAC bar rules mean

Tamil Nadu has amended its liquor retail vending rules to allow bars attached to state-run TASMAC outlets to operate either adjoining a shop or within 100 metres of it. The changes also revise licensing, minimum space and operating conditions for bars.
