Air India gets DGCA nod for 34-aircraft flying academy in Maharashtra
Air India has received DGCA approval to operate a flying academy at Belora Airport in Amravati, Maharashtra, with a fleet of 34 aircraft, including 31 single-engine and three twin-engine planes. Spread across 10 acres, the facility will be India's first flying academy established by an Indian airline and will complement the carrier's larger training centre in Gurugram.
