87% of Indian CEOs expect business growth: Will optimism translate into higher investment and hiring?

According to KPMG’s 2026 India CEO Outlook, 87% of Indian CEOs are confident about their organisations’ growth prospects over the next three years, up from 83% in 2025. Confidence in India’s growth prospects, meanwhile, stands at 73%, compared with 71% a year earlier.
