FSSAI issues notices to Nestlé, HUL over Horlicks, Nescafé labelling claims; suspends 2 firms' licences

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued show-cause notices to Nestlé India and Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) over alleged misleading claims and labelling violations in some of their products, while Nestle has been pulled up over labelling issues in its medical nutrition powder and Nescafé ready-to-drink beverages.
