Joly says the world won't be safer even if Trump leaves office

The former Foreign Minister and current Industry Minister Mélanie Joly, speaking with Ottawa bureau chief Mercedes Stephenson at The Globe's defence summit, said the geopolitical instability the United States has created isn't going away any time soon, and both Democrats and Republicans agree on many of the current administration's isolationist policies.
