Fed to Soon Consider Raising Bank Asset Thresholds, Bowman Says

Federal Reserve Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle Bowman said the Fed will look later this year to update its rules for fixed-dollar asset thresholds in a bid to account for inflation and economic growth. “This will preserve the policy intent at the time the threshold was implemented,” Bowman said Tuesday in remarks to a community banking research conference.
