AI to emit six times more CO₂ in 2030 than in 2025, experts warn

Greenhouse gas emissions from the AI sector could reach worrying levels by the end of the decade, according to a study published Wednesday by the French advocacy group Green IT. This is in addition to the damage caused to aquatic environments and fine particle pollution.
