From Bagh Caves to Satyagraha sites: 5 Indian heritage entries added to UNESCO Tentative List

Five new heritage entries have been added to India’s UNESCO Tentative List, including four from Madhya Pradesh. With these additions, Madhya Pradesh now accounts for 19 of India’s 78 Tentative List entries. From the Buddhist murals of Bagh and the Gupta-era Udayagiri Caves to Gond heritage and the temples of the Chambal Valley, the new entries cover different chapters of central India’s history.
