Central Railway begins ticket-checking drive on Oct 1; group with no ID may face ₹500 penalty

Central Railway will run a ticket-checking drive from October 1 to 31, 2026. If the original ID is not produced, all passengers on one ticket may be treated as ticketless, with a ₹500 minimum penalty.
