Pinarayi Vijayan accuses Kerala government of covering up medicine shortage
Kerala’s medicine availability has triggered a political dispute, with former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan alleging an acute shortage in government hospitals. The CPI(M) leader cited an audio message attributed to the Health Department Director as evidence of the crisis. The state government, however, has defended the current situation, while Health Minister K Muraleedharan criticised the previous LDF administration.
