Second-year Edmonton Oilers centre demoted, beat out by college free agent

This in from the Edmonton Oilers, news that second-year centre Josh Samanski has been loaned to the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League, beaten out for the fourth line job by newcomer Owen Michaels. Michaels, 24, was signed out of Michigan State this year as a college free agent.
