Tamil Nadu CM Vijay launches one-gram gold ring scheme for newborn babies

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay launched the Thaaimaman Thanga Mothiram Thittam at Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai. Under the scheme, eligible newborns in government healthcare institutions will receive a one-gram, 22-carat gold ring. Vijay also visited the maternity ward and personally presented rings to newborns. Mothers who received the rings welcomed the initiative and shared their experience.
