Coca-Cola poaches Monster Energy executive to lead US and Canada operations as its $2.6bn African bottling deal moves closer to completion

Monster Beverage executive Rob Gehring has been appointed to lead Coca-Cola's North America business unit. Gehring previously served as the head of Monster Beverage's Americas business before accepting the top position for the operations across the U.S. and Canada, which he will officially assume on December 1.
