US-sanctioned Iranian shadow-fleet tanker freed after Somali pirate hijacking

A US-sanctioned oil tanker linked to Iran’s shadow oil trade has been freed more than a month after it was seized by Somali pirates, bringing together two growing risks to global shipping: sanctions-busting vessels and a resurgence of piracy off the Horn of Africa.
