Supreme Court plea seeks action against CEC over SIR decisions

A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking a police investigation and criminal action against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities linked to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Petitioner and advocate Shailendra Mani Tripathi has also challenged certain decisions allegedly taken without the consent of the other Election Commissioners.
