Africa's biggest economy seeks private partners for $2.7 billion manganese export corridor

South Africa’s state-owned ports and rail operator Transnet is seeking a private-sector partner to develop and operate a major manganese export corridor, with the project expected to cost as much as R44 billion ($2.7 billion).
