Jadavpur University tightens attendance rules for officers, non-teaching staff: All you need to know

The move comes through a fresh circular issued by the university on September 24, which refers to several earlier orders on punctuality. Under the rules, normal office hours will be from 10 am to 5:30 pm, with a 30-minute recess. Employees are required to record both their arrival and departure times in the attendance register.
