Ethiopia’s biggest airline suspends flights to three cities as airport seizure threatens access to historic region

Ethiopian Airlines has suspended flights to three northern cities after Tigrayan forces took control of the airport in the regional capital, Mekelle, according to local sources, extending the effects of Ethiopia’s worsening security crisis to civilian air travel.
