UPI MDR: 0.4% charge above Rs 2,000 won’t be passed on to consumers, Govt sources say

Reaffirming the regulatory framework, sources maintained that the 0.4 per cent MDR levy on eligible UPI transactions over Rs 2,000 will not be passed on to the consumers.
