UPI MDR charges: Govt to discuss implementation with Indian Banks' Association, traders’ bodies; says 'no burden on consumers'

The regulatory measures comes as the government seeks to ensure that MDR on specified merchant UPI payments exceeding Rs 2,000 is borne strictly by merchants and does not result in additional charges for consumers.
