Maharashtra drought could be worse than 1972 crisis, Solapur among worst-hit: Fadnavis

Solapur has received only about 50% of its average rainfall, with almost all kharif crops damaged in the district. Soybean crops spread across 90,000 hectares in the Barshi and Dhanore regions have been completely destroyed.
