AI leaders to brief UN amid warnings the technology could slip beyond human control

UNITED NATIONS, Sept 23 - Executives from OpenAI, Anthropic and Hugging Face will brief the UN Security Council on Wednesday amid warnings increasingly powerful AI technologies could soon improve themselves, slip beyond human control and threaten international security.
