Oil drops below $99 as reports of Iran’s offer to reopen Hormuz ease supply fears
Oil prices fell below $99 a barrel on Tuesday before slowly recovering, after reports that Iran has offered to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days if the US eases military pressure, easing some of the supply concerns hanging over the market.
