India-New Zealand FTA to come into force on October 20

India and New Zealand have formally ratified their Free Trade Agreement, or FTA, which will come into force on October 20. The agreement was signed by Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and New Zealand’s Trade and Investment Minister Todd McClay in New Delhi on April 27, 2026.
