Labour Code: CM Satheesan backs implementation in Keralam, CPI(M) hits out

Keralam Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Monday said the state would implement the Centre’s new labour codes without compromising workers’ rights, drawing a sharp response from Leader of the Opposition Pinarayi Vijayan, who accused the government of announcing the move to appease vested interests and said the codes were against workers’ interests.
