Sugar stockholding limit doubled for bulk consumers ahead of festive season

The government has doubled the sugar stockholding limit for bulk consumers to 30 days from 15, but the additional stock must be sourced from imports under the Advance Authorisation Scheme or Tariff Rate Quota.
