India must accelerate growth towards 8-9%, improve ease of doing business: CII President

R Mukundan, President, CII, said India should target growth closer to 9% to support its long-term development goals. He added that the next phase of reforms should extend beyond the Centre to states and city centres, where much of the new manufacturing investment is expected to be generated.
