Amnesty International says Iran committed 'crimes against humanity' in 2022 protests crackdown

Amnesty International said the Iranian authorities committed “crimes against humanity” during the crackdown on the 2022 protests, which left hundreds dead, in a report released Wednesday, four years after the start of the movement “Woman, Life, Freedom” sparked by the death of Mahsa Amini.
