Meet Hugo, the world’s tallest living horse at 6 feet 6.3 inches — and he’s still growing

Hugo, a Shire horse from Towcester in Northamptonshire, England, was measured at 199 cm (6 feet 6.3 inches) by a vet on December 2, 2025, making him the world’s tallest living horse — and he may not have reached his full height yet. Hugo has also made it to the Guinness World Records.
