UK Budget to Be Based on a Single Set of Economic Forecasts

Britain’s fiscal watchdog will produce just one economic forecast before the Treasury decides on its budget policies in a bid to make the process more predictable and give the Chancellor of the Exchequer longer to prepare, according to a person familiar.
