Monsoon turns better than feared, giving India’s growth outlook a lift, says CEA Nageswarann
India’s growth outlook is getting support from two domestic drivers: a monsoon that has turned out better than feared and strong vehicle sales across rural and urban markets, Chief Economic Adviser V Anantha Nageswaran said. He also flagged higher food and energy prices, while describing inflation as reasonably well behaved despite its recent rise.
