Ethiopia turns to Italian banks for €400 million to complete 1,800MW hydropower dam

Ethiopia is negotiating with three Italian banks for €400 million in loans to complete the 1,800-megawatt Koysha hydroelectric dam, one of the country’s biggest ongoing power projects.
