Liberia: CBL Opens Nat'l Confab On Non-Performing Loans

[Liberian Observer] President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. formally opened the National Conference on the Resolution of Non-Performing Loans on Tuesday at the EJS Ministerial Complex, telling bankers, regulators, lawmakers, judges, and development partners that Liberia's mounting bad-debt problem is ultimately "about people", farmers seeking financing, young entrepreneurs without access to capital, and depositors whose savings must be protected.
