Africa’s largest retailer buys 400-outlet coffee chain as it pushes deeper into township payments

Africa’s largest supermarket group has acquired a coffee chain with more than 400 outlets and completed its purchase of a controlling interest in a payments company serving South Africa’s informal retail market.
