Madras High Court amici curiae recommend measures to restore Valankulam, Periyakulam in Coimbatore

As part of short-term measures, the amici curiae suggested that the court direct the corporation to remove the solar panels at Periyakulam and restore two sewage treatment plants; relocating recreational light or laser display from roosting areas of birds at the tanks and removing invasive water hyacinth and plastic waste were also recommended
