Soil Trick That Erases 80% of Fungus Without a Single Chemical Spray

Chemical treatments often only mask the presence of late blight and scab while depleting soil microflora. To eliminate these pathogens from the ground, gardeners can use a specific combination of cover crops (siderates) that create an environment where fungus spores cannot survive. The Three-Component Seed Mix for Soil Sanitation Combining different plant species provides a more comprehensive effect than using a single crop. To sanitize the soil, a mix of white mustard, phacelia, and winter rye is used in the following proportions per square meter (10.76 sq ft): White mustard: 3 grams (0.11 oz) Phacelia: 2 grams (0.07 oz) Winter rye: 15 grams (0.53 oz) Olga Semenova, agricultural consultant for gardeners: "This combination of crops allows the soil to be treated at different levels. Mustard quickly sanitizes the top layer, while rye uses its powerful roots to retrieve useful elements from depths inaccessible to most vegetables."
