Man Covers Himself in Tar to Rob Kyiv Store, Hoping to Hide in the Dark

A Kyiv resident covered himself in tar in an attempt to become invisible in the darkness while robbing a store, but his unusual disguise failed. Police spent more than five hours cleaning the man before questioning him, according to Ukrainian police. The 26-year-old man entered the store and managed to put cigarettes, juice, sweets, fruit and wet wipes into a bag before security guards spotted him. Bizarre Tar Disguise Fails During Store Robbery According to police, the man had immersed himself in a barrel of tar, apparently hoping that the dark substance would help him blend into the surroundings and avoid detection during the robbery.
