The Roselily Samantha hybrid is designed for gardeners who want the appearance of Oriental lilies without the caustic pollen that stains clothing and triggers allergies. Through selective breeding, the stamens have been transformed into additional petals, resulting in a dense, double-bloom structure that eliminates active pollen production. These lilies feature bright pink petals with a distinct white border, producing flowers that exceed 20 cm (7.8 in) in diameter. The plants typically reach a height of 90–100 cm (35–39 in). Because the heavy, double blooms can cause stems to bend toward the ground during peak flowering, these tall stalks may require physical support.
