Head Start Works. Don’t Let Trump Gut It

Imagine a federally subsidized preschool program for the neediest families that not only allowed parents to work full-time but also set children up to become better students, earn higher wages, use fewer social services and have a lifetime of better health. Then imagine that program was effective enough to essentially pay for itself.
