World’s third-largest gold miner hands South African executive global role as Mali recovery lifts output to 796,000 ounces

Barrick Mining Corporation has appointed South African mining executive Sebastiaan Bock to lead its operations outside North America, placing an Africa-focused veteran in charge of a global portfolio spanning some of the company’s most important gold and copper assets.
