Russia prepares for possible jet fuel sanctions via state reserves

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak stated that jet fuel reserves established under the national energy security program are sufficient to maintain normal flight operations for several months, even if new sanctions restrict supplies to Russian airlines. The reserves and the ability of domestic refineries to scale output form the basis of the ministry's assessment. No sanctions targeting Russian carriers have been enacted to date.
