Azerbaijan and Armenia initial peace agreement in Washington

Azerbaijan and Armenia have initialed a unified text for a Peace Agreement and the establishment of interstate relations. The document was finalized in Washington on August 8, 2025, following an invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump, who participated in the signing of the final Joint Declaration between the three nations. The central outcome of these agreements is the confirmed necessity to open communications between Baku and Yerevan.
