Indonesia is moving toward a long-term contract for Russian crude oil imports to stabilize its domestic fuel market. Indonesian Minister of Energy Bahlil Lahadalia confirmed that the process has entered a second stage, transitioning from spot purchases to the preparation of a durable supply agreement. Supply Volumes and Logistics The Indonesian side expects to import up to 150 million barrels of oil. The first physical shipment has already been completed—the tanker Sierra delivered approximately 770,000 barrels to the port of Balikpapan. This specific cargo was shipped from the Russian port of Kozmino and is valued at $75 million.
