Kerala Rain Fury: IMD Issues Orange Alert As Heavy Downpour Triggers Landslides; Eight Dead, 13 Injured

Chief Minister V D Satheesan said 27 houses were completely destroyed and 196 homes partially damaged in the downpour, while 5,792 people have been moved to 209 relief camps set up across the state.
