Beyond reading and writing: What ULLAS says adult literacy means

Rakesh Pradhan, a 26-year-old lodge manager from Malisahi village in Odisha’s Boudh district, has transformed his life through the ULLAS adult education program, moving from being unable to write his own name to confidently signing documents and performing basic calculations.
