We Don’t Need 24/7 Oil Trading. It’s Coming Anyway

When it comes to the question of whether the oil industry needs 24/7 trading, my answer is simple: “Hell no.” (Full disclosure, I may have a conflict of interest; namely, I enjoy weekends.) From what I hear in the oil-trading community, most share my views. Yet, round-the-clock trading is coming. In fact, it’s essentially already here, via unregulated financial markets.
